IMPROPER USE OF PUBLIC FUNDS:
SEEKING EDUCATIONAL EXCELLENCE TO SUE UNIVERSITY OF CALIFORNIA AT BERKELEY
December 30, 2018
(Phoenix, AZ) Seeking Educational Excellence is joined with Immigration Reform Legislative Institute in a lawsuit against the University of California at Berkeley for improper use of public funds.
Berkeley allocates between $400,000 and $800,000 toward services for “undocumented” students on campus. The allocation of funds for illegals began amid ongoing tensions related to the detention of Berkeley student Luis Mora by federal immigration officials, with some students accusing the university of being lackluster in its support for Mora.
It is our contention that use of any funds for illegals is prohibited. We expect our lawsuit to have far-reaching impact on those attempting to offer “sanctuary” to illegals who circumvent America’s legal immigration system.
Details of this lawsuit will be available at the SEE website.

Charles, Kudos for an excellent article in RCP. Kevin and Charles great vision for SEE. Only in highlighting false ideas can barriers be removed. My mother was an educator for 50 years and subbed until she was 88 then she thought it was time to retire. I grew up in rural Minnesota. If you would have been there then, chances are we would be best buds. You both sound moderate to conservative in your viewpoints meaning we would make good neighbors. My bias is with viewpoints rather than skin color. The past of the U.S. is not perfect nor pretty. Many seem to forget Union soldiers both white and black fought and died to abolish slavery. Since the beginning of our nation, there have been brilliant black men and women who contributed greatly to our nation as there are of every skin color. Ideas bond us together as one people. Today BLM, to me seems more a Marxist revolutionary group than one that really protests about the loss of black lives. This is evident by their total silence when 111 people were shot, 14 killed including 3 or 4 kids. Why is it only protest worthy when a black man is killed by police. When was the last time any protest took place when an unarmed white person was shot by police? I don’t think it is racist to say we should be concerned about the needless loss of all lives.
I support your organization because I think the best way forward for the inner-city population is through education. The government has failed those living in inner-cities. Frankly, many schools suck and are unsafe. Yet liberals will not allow parents school vouchers to be used by parents with good kids who want to learn to be in an environment with like ability kids allowing them to excel.
God Bless your mission.
