IMPROPER USE OF PUBLIC FUNDS: SEEKING EDUCATIONAL EXCELLENCE TO SUE UNIVERSITY OF CALIFORNIA AT BERKELEY
December 30, 2018
(Phoenix, AZ) Seeking Educational Excellence is joined with Immigration Reform Legislative Institute in a lawsuit against the University of California at Berkeley for improper use of public funds.
Berkeley allocates between $400,000 and $800,000 toward services for “undocumented” students on campus. The allocation of funds for illegals began amid ongoing tensions related to the detention of Berkeley student Luis Mora by federal immigration officials, with some students accusing the university of being lackluster in its support for Mora.
It is our contention that use of any funds for illegals is prohibited. We expect our lawsuit to have far-reaching impact on those attempting to offer “sanctuary” to illegals who circumvent America’s legal immigration system.
Details of this lawsuit will be available at the SEE website.
